Washington Tasting Room Magazine’s 2025 list of the “Best 75 Wines of the Year.”
As the year 2025 comes to a close, the editors of Washington Tasting Room Magazine have carefully narrowed down the selection for our list of “Best 75 Wines” from among hundreds of releases we have reviewed in the past year. These wines represent an array of producers, from well-established ones to emerging talent coming up through the ranks, yet all are worthy of special recognition for having a noteworthy quality that captured our complete attention.
Our selection criteria includes quality-to-price ratio, availability (mail list-only labels were not included because the wines are not easily accessible to the general public). Additionally, selections were limited to just one per producer in order to provide readers with a broader range of offerings.
It’s worth noting many wines are made in limited quantities and frequently replaced by newer vintages. Some are one-off’s that are here today and gone tomorrow. Regardless, consider this list a blueprint to inspiring wineries worth keeping track of now and in the future.

The finish is threaded with gentle loamy expressions and a kiss of spice.
