Adapting to the changing conditions around in-person events, The Auction of Washington Wines has replaced the annual Wine & Music event with an online auction happening May 6th through May 10th, ending on Mother’s Day. The auction will highlight lots from of their Washington winery friends who usually would be pouring at the event.
Visit the website for all the details and to register online (or click on this link) for the opportunity to bid on special wine packages, virtual tastings and a chat over the winemaker’s favorite playlist, or a tasting plus live music party. You can preview all the auction items ahead of time to start plotting which you’ll be bidding on.
As a special bonus the team at the Auction of Washington Wines put together some of their favorite tunes in playlists to pair with your favorite Washington wines. Listen to the “White Wine, So Fine” playlist while lounging on the porch in the sun with some chilled white wine to sip on. The “Rosé all Day” is an upbeat springtime playlist to pair with some rosé wine. “Sparkling Wine Time” is a fun playlist for dancing in the kitchen with a glass of bubbly in hand and “Red Red Wine” is an evening playlist to sit back and relax with some red wine.
