Road to Paradise Festival Showcases Hard-to-Find Artisanal Washington Wines and Microbrews

Ashford, WA – The Mount Rainier Visitor’s Association (MRVA) is hosting the 3rd Annual Fall ‘Road to Paradise‘ Wine and Brew Festival on Saturday November 3, 2012 from 2-9pm at the Lion’s Grand Tasting Room in Ashford, WA, located at the base of Mt. Rainier.  The popular festival showcases hard-to-find artisanal wines and microbrews from Washington state.This year’s event features Toledo’s Bateaux Cellars, Madsen Family Cellars and NW Mountain Winery of Olympia, Woodinville’s Piccola Cellars, Naches Heights Vineyard of Yakima, Scatter Creek Winery of Tenino, Walla Walla’s Skylite Cellars, Stottle Winery from Lacy, Mount Vernon’s Tulip Valley Winery and Orchard, Whisper Ridge Winery of Zilla and Gig Harbor’s 7 Seas Brewing.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.road-to-paradise.com. Discounted tickets are available for advance purchase through October 31st for $20. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass, 10 tasting tickets and live entertainment. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each. After Halloween, tickets are $25 and can be purchased either online or onsite.

For those looking to extend their visit, hospitality awaits at area hotels, spas, bed and breakfasts, cabins and vacation rentals. Visitors will receive one complimentary event ticket for lodging booked November 2-3, 2012, in Ashford, Elbe, Longmire or Mineral.
