Goldendale, Wash. — March 20, 2017 – Maryhill Winery & Amphitheater announces its 2017 Summer Concert Series, which includes ten-time GRAMMY®-Award winner Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, ZZ Top & The Doobie Brothers, Goo Goo Dolls & Phillip Phillips and Michael McDonald & Boz Scaggs.
While the Santana show has already sold out, tickets for the rest of the series will go on sale to the public at maryhillwinery.com or Ticketfly (1-877-435-9849) on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10 a.m., with prices ranging from $46 to $100.
Located in the Columbia River Gorge in Goldendale, Washington, just 90 miles east of Portland, Maryhill Winery has hosted award-winning musicians in country, jazz, blues and rock at its outdoor amphitheater for more than a decade. The 4,000-seat amphitheater is integrated into the natural slope of an expansive outdoor lawn, offering panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge as well as the surrounding estate vineyards.

ZZ Top & The Doobie Brothers: ZZ TOP a/k/a “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact and, in 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. ZZ TOP’s music is always instantly recognizable, eminently powerful, profoundly soulful and 100% Texas American in derivation. The band’s support for the blues is unwavering both as interpreters of the music and preservers of its legacy.
The Doobie Brothers: As durable as American steel, Northern California’s four-time Grammy winning Doobie Brothers sound has become part of America’s musical firmament, sampled on dance records, reinterpreted on “American Idol,” and a fixture on radio formats from top 40 to classic rock. They continue to write and record new material, tour the world, boasting one of the most loyal fan bases in music, all while breaking new creative ground in the exploration of their musical connection with Nashville.
Steve Winwood: For more than four decades, Steve Winwood has remained a primary figure in rock ‘n’ roll. Beloved for his eclectic style and superbly crafted songs, his band Traffic routinely defied convention to celebrate a host of perse sounds and influences. Landmark albums such as Mr. Fantasy and John Barleycorn Must Die confirmed their position as one of the most important British groups of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Later, his solo debut signaled a bold new artistic direction yielding popular hits like “Back In The High Life,” “When You See A Chance,” “Valerie,” and “Higher Love.”
Goo Goo Dolls: Featuring singer and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and singer Robby Takac — are on their third tour following the release of their 11th studio album, Boxes, lauded by the likes of People, Huffington Post, and Metro who call the album a “step forward in the band’s extensive repertoire.” Phillip Phillips: Since releasing his five-times- platinum debut single “Home” in spring 2012, Phillip Phillips has released two chart-topping albums and has taken his expansive brand of earthy guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe.
