Inaugural Ballard Wine Walk On Saturday, October 19th

Visit Ballard will pair ten Washington wineries with ten Ballard neighborhood boutique shops for its first annual Visit Ballard Ballard Wine Walk on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm.

Each of the ten shops will offer a unique wine tasting experience featuring one of ten participating Washington wineries. The Columbia Bank NeighborHub will serve as event headquarters where participants will check in, receive a wrist band, map, and tasting tickets. A commemorative Visit Ballard Wine Walk govino® glass will be available for advanced purchase
online or at the event.

Wineries and shops are listed in alphabetical order - Pairing for event will be revealed on October 19th.

Tickets for the Visit Ballard Wine Walk go on sale on September 4 for online purchase at visitballard.com/winewalk.

  • 10 tasting tickets available for $25 advance purchase/$30 at the door
  • An additional three tasting tickets available for $10
  • Ballard Wine Walk commemorative govino® tasting glass available online or at the door for $5

Event participants will have an opportunity to purchase bottles at a special discounted rate at the Columbia Bank NeighborHub from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. the evening of the event. All varieties of wines served during the event will be available for purchase.

“The Visit Ballard Wine Walk not only creates an opportunity to enjoy select Washington wines while visiting some of Ballard’s best boutique shops, it also serves as a fundraiser for the Ballard Alliance – a non-profit neighborhood organization that implements programs throughout the year that support our local businesses and residents,” said Ballard Alliance Executive Director Mike Stewart.
