Columbia Winery Harvest Celebration Features Wine, Food & Music

Woodinville, Wash. – September 1, 2015 – To celebrate this year’s harvest, Columbia Winery is holding a Harvest Celebration on Saturday, September 19, which includes gourmet food and wine pairings. Kicking off the celebration is a VIP Ticket option that provides ticket holders the opportunity to interact in a live video chat with the winemaking team from 3-4pm. VIP guests get to hear about this year’s harvest and have a question and answer session with head winemaker Sean Hails. VIP’s will also get exclusive barrel samples and pre-wine and food pairing bites before heading to the Barrel Room for the main event.

For all ticket holders, the Barrel Room will open at 4pm for a wine paired menu created by Chef Michael Toni in collaboration with the winemaking team. Newly released wines will be served with food and live bluegrass music will be performed by Cherokee Wildflower.

Wine Pairing Menu

Stratos 2014 with mini Dungeness crab cakes with mango salsa

Cabernet Franc 2013 with braised short rib sliders and wok fired red cabbage slaw & Cipollini onion jam

Legacy 2013 with Orecchiette pasta and braised veal with wild mushrooms & shaved Pecorino

Tempranillo 2013 with Prosciutto & Mission fig flatbread Gruyere, fresh sage and roasted leeks.

Ticket Options

3-6pm VIP Tickets are $40 per person and includes the harvest update, Q & A live video chat with Sean Hails, VIP only barrel samples and additional food and wine pairings prior to main dinner menu.

4-6pm General Admission Tickets are $30 per person and include the gourmet food and wine pairings, new releases, live concert and discounts on select wines.
