Claar Cellars Changes Name To Claar Wine Group

March 15, 2013

Pasco, WA — To better reflect the wide range of offerings while continuing the family legacy, Claar Cellars L.L.C. will now operate as the Claar Wine Group. Since opening Claar Cellars in 1996, Owners Bob and Crista Whitelatch have acquired five other major brands and several smaller labels which are in various states of production. These holdings include Le Chateau, Nicola’s Redmark, Chateau Walla Walla, Ridge Crest and Kelso with distribution in over 28 states, China and India.

The Claar Wine Group is a family-owned and operated company based in Pasco Washington with 120 acres of vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA. The vineyard sits on the White Bluffs region of the last free flowing stretch of the Columbia River.

Claar Wine Group is certified Limited Input Viticulture and Enology (LIVE) as well as Salmon Safe and certified by the International Organization for Biological and Integrated Control of Noxious Animals and Plants (IOBC). The family is dedicated to sustainable farming and positive environmental stewardship.
