Yakima, Wash. — Wineries in the Yakima Valley celebrate harvest with Catch the Crush slated for October 12, 13, 2019. Experience harvest with the experts during the Annual Catch the Crush weekend. More than 40 wineries invite guests to tour vineyards, enjoy harvest and crush activities, stomp in barrels, and wine and dine all weekend long. Wine Yakima Valley offers the most economical way to experience Catch the Crush with the Premier Pass for just $30 when purchased in advance.

Premier Pass holders have the opportunity to indulge in exclusive events while also receiving discounts on tasting fees, experiences, and wine purchases all weekend long. Wine enthusiasts can soak up knowledge, partake in harvest or relax with winemaker dinners and crush parties. 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Advanced registration required.
If you have never experienced wine grapes between your toes, it is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! Rollup your jeans, hop in a bin and start stomping!

Airfield Estates 13Th Annual Vineyard Run
Saturday, October 12, 2019
10am Onsite Registration and Check-In. 11:00 AM Flyover and Race Start
A great event for the whole family. Runners, walkers, children, & well-behaved dogs are welcome to participate. The undulating course is a fun challenge for serious runners, the grape tasting and beautiful vineyard setting along the way is enjoyed by all. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for the following divisions: Men, Women, Youth, & Dogs. Be sure to select your division at signup.

Winemaker for a Day, Two Mountain Winery
Saturday, October 12, 2019
Have you ever wondered what a winemaker does during crush? Spend time in the vineyard, tasting and testing grapes from the vine. Then into the cellar to see what happens once the grapes are picked. Taste various stages of fermentation at punch down for a first-hand experience of winemaking in October.
