Wenatchee Wine Week is the Perfect Time to Taste Region’s Award-Winning Wines

February 24, 2012

Wineries in the Wenatchee Valley are kicking off spring with Wine Week, five different wine events planned for the week of March 19-24, 2012 at local wine shops, retailers, and restaurants.  It’s a fun opportunity to taste award-winning wines and meet the wineries of this burgeoning culinary region.

Be prepared for plenty of wine tasting, attend a seminar or two, learn expert tips on food & wine pairing, even enjoy mouth-watering dinner specials at local restaurants.  The week culminates with the March Madness Wine Walk in downtown Wenatchee.

March 19: Mad About Merlot
Location: The Grape Wine Shop, 2 “D” Street, Quincy
Sample several Wenatchee Wine Country Merlot wines from 4-8 p.m.  Cost is $2 per wine poured.  These merlots are magnificent.

March 21: Sensational Syrah Night

The cost for this seminar is $15 per person.  Robertson is an internationally certified wine professional with Wine and Spirit Education Trust and co-owner of the Mission Street Bistro.

Food and Wine Pairing Seminar
