WSET Level 2 in Wine Course Yakima Valley Community College in Grandview

Elevating from a strong foundation, Level 2 builds upon the basics – whether from Level 1 certification or through personal experience & study. Delve into all major grape varieties and styles, iconic wine regions of the world, interpretation of labels & terminology, as well as professional tasting techniques.

Here, students will deepen their understanding, appreciation, and expertise as aspiring professionals or inspired wine buffs. Resources in this course range from collaborative discussions, lectures, and reading materials to go along with evaluation of over 40 wines utilizing the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting. Classes are on Sunday and Monday, May 19th and May 20th, from 9am to 6pm each day.
