Siren Song Winery Opens French-Style Bistro in Ellensburg

March 22, 2025

Siren Song Vineyard Estate & Winery owners Holly and Kevin Brown
Siren Song Wines Le Bistrot in Ellensburg

Since their inaugural wine releases in 2009, the husband and wife team of Kevin and Holly Brown have built up a unique experience at Siren Song Vineyard Estate & Winery in Chelan, drawing inspiration from their enchanting travels across France, Italy and Spain.

Their vision—a harmonious blend of culinary adventure infused with European tradition—has transformed Siren Song into a sanctuary for wine and food enthusiasts alike. With each bottle, they celebrate the artistry of food-forward wines that are complemented by chef-crafted pairings, showcasing an array of sharable plates inspired by the rich culinary heritage of these iconic regions.

The recent expansion in 2024 into a satellite location in historic downtown Ellensburg marks an exciting new chapter for the winery. The quaint bistro-style setting offers exceptional food pairings crafted by executive chef Holly Brown. “Siren Song wines are meant to be paired with food,” emphasizes Kevin, who oversees the winemaking with grapes sourced from their estate vineyards in Chelan and the Walla Walla Valley. Whether you’re a wine aficionado or a curious newcomer, the fusion of flavors promises to ignite your palate and elevate your dining experience.

Below are two releases we recently reviewed:

Siren Song 2019 Grand Cru Cabernet Franc Chantal’s Block
94 pts.
The grapes are from the winery’s Ancient Stones Vineyard in the Rocks District, with softball-sized cobble stones extending more than 300 feet into the earth that force the vines deep into the terroir to find water. Silky, with multilayered plump raspberry and loam-infused cherry notes that take on refinements of leather, sage, bay leaf and river rock with smooth tannins. $58

Siren Song 2019 Beijo
92 pts.
A rich, smooth and fruit-forward estate blend of Merlot (75%) and Syrah (25%) from Siren of the Lake Vineyard in the Lake Chelan AVA. Aromatic and perfumed, with a burst of ripe cherry and red licorice that reveal details of almond extract, dried herbs and fresh acidity wrapped around a mesh of fine tannins. $44
