Dossier Wine Collective has opened a satellite tasting room in Woodinville. The winery was founded in 2021 by real estate developer, Tim Lenihan, and former NFL Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Sidney Rice. During Covid, a friendship grew between the two friends, united by their shared passion for wine. As they explored various varietals, they discovered a deep affection for high-end Washington-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, which would ultimately become the cornerstone of their new venture, Dossier.
Given Tim’s roots in Yakima and his college years spent in Walla Walla, he felt a compelling urge to also showcase the remarkable Syrah and Viognier from Washington—two of his favorite Rhône-based varietals.

To bring their vision to life, they recruited the expert guidance of certified Master of Wine and trusted consultant Billo Naravane (Rasa Vineyards) known for his exceptional relationships with top growers across the state. They source fruit from esteemed vineyards in Washington and Oregon, including AVAs like Red Mountain, Walla Walla, Royal Slope, Wahluke Slope, The Rocks District and Yakima Valley, to name a few.

The innovative winemaking techniques employed at Dossier align with the winery’s mantra of quality-first. By utilizing a combination of selective French oak barrels and concrete vessels, the team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of winemaking, striving to craft world-class wines from the ground up.
Their program balances classic Bordeaux varietals, which make up roughly 80% of their offerings, with 20% of classic Rhône varietals, showcasing the best of both worlds.
